Tara Mazurk – As a Senior Consultant with the Global Public Affairs Cultural Industries team, Tara provides government and current affairs monitoring, research and communications in support of client initiatives.
Tara began her career as a gallery curator, with a focus on educational, heritage, and community-based programming. In the policy space, she has held positions with Canadian Artists’ Representation Ontario and the Ontario Nonprofit Network. She has also led projects around charitable art fundraisers and accessibility. Tara has worked with organizations to design events and author publications related to cultural industry policies and practice.
Tara has participated on steering committees with the Canadian Arts Coalition and Connect the Sector, and has coordinated various short-term projects for various groups and organizations.
Tara holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, with a specialist in Arts Management and a minor in Studio Art.
