John Allen is Vice President and National Infrastructure Practice Lead. He has over 20 years of experience providing integrated government relations, stakeholder engagement, and communications counsel. With a primary focus on the infrastructure, transportation, energy, and technology sectors, he also advises around trade and investment policies and market entry strategies. As part of his work, he established the Infrastructure Lab to spotlight best practices in the sector and co-founded the Future of Infrastructure Group as a platform for dialogue between industry and government to get the most value from infrastructure investment.
Before joining Global, John spent almost a decade in Brussels, where he worked in the European Parliament, for the American Chamber of Commerce to the EU, and an international public affairs firm – working with leading international companies and organizations on often complex issues.
John has an MBA from Vlerick Business School in Belgium and a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Birmingham (UK).
