Bernard Simon is a Special Adviser in Global’s Toronto office, offering strategic advice on media relations across practice groups and jurisdictions.
As a journalist, Bernard worked for several of the world’s leading media organizations, including the Financial Times, the New York Times, the Economist and U.S. News & World Report. Bernard has also served as joint managing editor of Canada’s Financial Post and as deputy editor of South Africa’s Business Day.
He has conducted numerous public-policy research projects for, among others, the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, the Public Policy Forum, and the Ontario and federal governments. He is currently on the faculty of the Fellowship in Global Journalism at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs.
